CocoaNet 1.0 is a sub-system to the implementation concept of the complete version of the CocoaNet System which contains complete information on the cocoa industry in Malaysia. CocoaNet 1.0 is an on-line system being developed and implemented using latest Internet technology. The main scope of the CocoaNet 1.0 services is on inquiry of the trade statistics and licensing information (licensing information is off-limit to internal users only) currently available using Web. CocoaNet 1.0 technology which will process the inquiry from registered users and search the information in the CocoaNet database and produce the specific output. It means that internal and external users can use the Web Browser such as MS Internet Explorer, Netscape latest version or etc. to inquiry information from any computers connected to Internet at any time. The objective of CocoaNet 1.0 is as follows: i. Prepare an on-line dynamic inquiry system on selected trade and licensing information using Internet technology to users. ii. Provide
open and flexible related information to users for them
to analyse. CocoaNet 1.0 offers information on Malaysia cocoa products import/export statistics, daily average price chart etc...
