Malaysian Cocoa Board Client’s Charter

1. Distribution of Information

To ensure quality service on preparing and disseminating information on technology, marketing and cocoa statistic that is precise, latest and punctual.
To publish daily cocoa bean prices on every working day, at the latest by 3pm
To publish the Malaysian Cocoa Monitor twice a year
To publish the Malaysian journal on cocoa research and development, at least once every year

2. Research and Development

To publish and disseminate technology developed on cocoa bean production and processing, and cocoa based product development.
To commercialize at least one technology a year
To conduct and complete chemical analysis related to cocoa within 30 days of receiving samples

3. Market Expansion for Malaysian Cocoa

To provide a systematic and efficient Market Development Program through participation in five international trade expositions to ensure the continuous expansion of cocoa market.

4. Monitoring and Quality

To accomplish registration of licenses within 24 hours
To produce Quality Certification within 30 minutes for each lot (cocoa bean consignment < 1 ton) or within one hour (cocoa bean consignment > 1 ton)

5. Expansion and Human Capital Development

To continuously increase competency and skill of manpower
To reply within 30 days, the application and enquiry on basic course on Handmade Chocolate Entrepreneur Course
To distribute information on cocoa planting to more than 8,000 farmers every year (through courses and gatherings)

6. Bill payment

Bill payment will be completed within 14 days from the date of document received
