Quality standard for cocoa beans and cocoa products in Malaysian Cocoa Industry are based on standard released by Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM). The standard formulated by the Technical Committee on Cocoa and Cocoa Products comprise of representatives from Government Ministries and Agencies, trade, commerce and manufacturer associations and scientific and professional bodies. Malaysian Cocoa Board is the Chairman of the committee.
